How it all started

Keeping the classic tradition alive.

Evergreen Park opened for its first season more than a decade ago. It all started thanks to Phil’s love of Christmas and the classic tradition of cutting down your very own Christmas tree.

What began as a small tree lot quickly blossomed over the years into an entire holiday experience — complete with hay rides, appearances from Santa, and a seasonal gift shop packed with decor.

It is still a family operation on the north side of Glenwood, and the idea is still the same: bring the whole family out, find the tree, make the memory.

“Bring your whole family out for this classic Christmas experience.”
Locally grown

Six species. One perfect tree.

We offer a wide selection of cut-your-own and pre-cut trees. Walk the rows and pick yours in the field, or choose from the pre-cut selection near the barn.

Fir

Fraser Fir

Known for its pleasant scent, the yellow-green branches of the Fraser fir feature a conical shape with branches that angle slightly upward.

Fir

Balsam Fir

An evergreen best known for its conical shape and dense, dark-green leaves that are flat and needle-like. The classic Minnesota Christmas smell.

Fir

Canaan Fir

Known for its similarities to the Fraser and Balsam fir, the Canaan fir is often referred to as the hybrid of the two.

Pine

White Pine

Needles grow in soft bundles with bluish-green hues and pointed tips. The branches are flexible and give off little to no aroma.

Pine

Scotch Pine

Dark green foliage and sturdy branches equip the Scotch pine — perfect for plenty of Christmas lights and heavier decorations.

Spruce

Meyers Spruce

Like the Blue Spruce, it is most notable for its distinct blue-green color and tapered conical shape. What sets it apart is its disease resistance.
